Andeluna 1300 Chardonnay 2020 - 12 bottles for the price of 10
Andeluna 1300 Chardonnay gets its name from the altitude where the grapes are grown, 1300 meters above sea level. The 1300 Chardonnay is a medium-bodied white wine with a superb balance of tropical fruit flavours combined with superb acidity. This excellent Chardonnay pairs with all white meat dishes and is a delight if served with creamy pasta dishes or fish.
Winery Information:
Vinification
After selecting the very best bunches, the grapes are destemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks. This wine was handcrafted by winemaker, Silvio Alberto, in collaboration with Michel Rolland.
Viticulture
Grapes come from Andeluna's estate-owned vineyards located in Tupungato at an altitude of 1300 meters. Canopy management ensures small yields of less than 10,000kg per hectare. The vines are irrigated by a drop-water system that regulates and supplies the exact amount of water that the plant needs.
Tasting Note
This Chardonnay has a medium body and very good structure, with an excellent balance of complex fruit notes and crisp acidity. Complex aromas of white peach, green apple, pear, lime and pineapple with notes of honey and spice complement flavours of tropical fruit and citrus with mineral notes to produce an outstanding wine with a medium finish.
