It is the oldest cooperative in Champagne, dating back to 1921. Since its inception, Collet has been creating Champagnes of character with authenticity, elegance and great finesse. Located in Aÿ, in the heart of the Champagne region, Collet represents some of the finest growers and mainly sources from vineyards which are based on Premier and Grand Cru sites. Each cuvée reflects the diversity of the region's terroirs and has been masterfully blended to suit gastronomic cuisine. Vineyard The grapes were sourced from a selection of vineyards comprising 20 Grands Crus and Premiers Crus villages. The Pinot Noir contributes richness and power. 16% of the Pinot Noir originates from Mailly-Champagne and Vertus, vinified as red wine, giving this Rosé Champagne its subtle tile-red colour and warm aromas of red fruits. The Chardonnay is grown in the Câ´te des Blancs and contributes elegance, finesse and freshness. The Pinot Meunier, predominantly comes from Ville-Dommange and brings harmony and sweetness to the blend.
Winemaking
