Andeluna 1300 Malbec 2018, Mendoza, Argentina
It's rare to find wines of such consistency year in, year out, but the Andeluna 1300 Malbec never fails us, vintage after vintage. It's an impeccably judged combination of vibrant, juicy fruit flavours and richer, more complex qualities that can only come from skilled winemaking and maturation. On the palate This vegan red wine shows notes of strawberry and plums combine with a delicate floral character, finishing with a touch of vanilla and some hallmark Malbec spiciness.
Fantastic value for money, and eminently quaffable. Equal parts party wine, Friday night-in wine, and if you so desire, food wine. Try it with ratatouille or a spicy vegan pizza or if you love meat a delicious Argentinean steak will pair wonderfully.
Following fermentation, the wine was aged for three months in French oak casks and then matured for a further 3 months in bottle, melding the fruit and oak flavours. No animal-based fining agents or winery aids were used during the vinification.

Tasting Note
This Malbec has great body with roundness and elegance. Intense aromas of cherry, black currant, cassis and vanilla with notes of cherry liqueur and dark chocolate combine with lush flavours of raspberries, spices, chocolate and anise that complement the sweet tannins and produce a bottle of exceptional wine with intense fruit notes and a long finish.
