Andeluna 1300 Torrontes 2019
Andeluna 1300 Torrontes is a superb example of Argentine Torrontes. Its distinct rose, peach and jasmine aromas and flavours make it the perfect match to Asian or spicy dishes. This wine gets it's name from the altitude at which the grapes are grown, 1300 meters above sea level.
Winery Information:
Vinification
After selecting the very best bunches, the grapes are destemmed and fermented and aged for five months in stainless steel tanks. This wine was handcrafted by winemaker, Silvio Alberto, in collaboration with Michel Rolland.
Viticulture
Grapes come from our vineyards located in Tupungato at an altitude of 1300 meters above sea level. The plants are irrigated by a drop-water system that regulates and supply the exact amount of water that the plant needs.
Tasting Note
This Andeluna 1300 Torrontes has a very good body and a medium structure with marked freshness and acidity. Delightful aromas of white flowers, jasmine, peach, apricot and grapefruit combine with flavours of tropical fruits, citrus and spices to produce a refreshingly exquisite wine with a long finish. This wine is especially good with spicy dishes where the flavours in the wine will enhance and create a perfect marriage with the spices in the food. Thai, Indian and Chinese food work particularly well, especially Thai curries.
