Sachetto Sauvignon delle Venezie 2019
Cantina Sacchetto was founded in 1920 and today is run by Filiberto Sacchetto, his son Paolo and daughter Beatrice who oversee all aspects of the winemaking process and aim to produce the best possible examples of wines for which the region is famous.
Vineyard
The average age of vines is between eight to ten years and they are grown in an alluvial, middle mixture soils.The trellising system used in the vineyards is Guyot.
Winemaking
The must was obtained through a soft pressing in a horizontal press; the fermentation took place with selected yeasts at controlled temperatures in stainless steel. The wine was then matured in stainless steel to preserve the freshness and primary aromas.
Tasting Note
Straw yellow colour, a fragrant nose with delicate citrus aromatics, full bodied, pleasantly lively with a crisp, dry finish.
Serving Suggestion
A fresh, crisp and versatile wine to drink as an apéritif by the glass or to accompany crudités, risottos and seafood spaghetti.
