Marchesi dell'Ammiraglia Frescobaldi Vermentino Maremma 2018
The Vermentino Maremma from Tenuta dell'Ammiriglia is planted in rich chalk-sandstone galestro soils which produce a wonderfully complex, balanced wine. The delightful flavours of honey and tropical fruit combine with a soft almond aftertaste to produce a very interesting wine which is better served with food as opposed to being drunk on it's own. The perfect matches are white fish, calamari and pesto based dishes.

Spur Pruned Cordon. 5,500 vineyards per hectare. Manual harvest in September. South west facing vineyards at 300 metres above sea level.
Chalk-sandstone Galestro soil
Fermentation in stainless steel at 20°C.
Intesnse straw-yellow. Aromas of exotic fruits, hawthorn and acacia honey. Full-bodied and full flavoured with an almond aftertaste.
